A unique getaway in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest, the Loft is a private vacation rental, close to Giant City, Southern Illinois University, and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The historic building that is home to the Wine Loft was constructed in 1912 as a general store. The Loft renovations used environmentally friendly material and preserved as much of the original brick work and exterior as possible.
