Kickapoo State Park Campgrounds
Kickapoo has two major campgrounds for tent and trailer camping, with 184 sites. About half the sites have electrical hookups, two shower buildings are available to all campers and a sanitary dump station is available. Campers occupying electrical sites are required to pay for the availability of electricity even if the service is not used. A limited number of walk-in sites are available for primitive campers. The shower buildings are closed by November 1 (may be earlier if bad weather) and reopen May 1 (may be earlier - weather depending).

Located 4 miles north of I-80 at exit 19 and adjacent to the historic Hennepin Canal. Shady, quiet camping in the midst of nature's wonders. Spend a night in one of our four rustic cabins. Try the Yurt Accomodations. It is 20 foot diameter, and sleeps 8. It has one queen bed and 2 bunk beds with a full on bottom and twin on top Rent a canoe or kayak and relax on historic Hennepin Canal. Bring you own bicycle or simply walk to enjoy the recreational trail along the Hennepin Canal. The town of Geneseo has great Victorian homes with welcoming porches. In additional to the RV camp sites, there are 12 tent sites available. Internet services on site.

Moraine View State Park Campground
Moraine View State Park offers 137 Class A trailer campsites with electricity and a sanitary station. Water is available in several locations in the campground. 102 sites can now be reserved in Gander Bay campground. A boat launch and dock is also situated in this area. Alcohol is prohibited in all campgrounds. The shower buildings are closed by November 1st (may be earlier if bad weather) and reopen May 1st (may be earlier - weather depending). Catfish Bay camp area and Tall Timber backpack trail provide 32 primitive class D sites. Timber Ridge group camp has 3 sites. Timberline Ridge horse camp has 30 Class "A" campsites complete with water, electricity, and hitching racks. Ol' Orchard group camp is currently closed.

Timber Campground
East access from I 74, exit 24, go east on Route 81 for 13 miles or I 80, exit 19, go south 10 miles on Route 82 and then turn left and travel 2 miles on Route 81. This campsite offers many options for RV and primitive camping. There is a small general store for necessity items and free Wi-Fi. Walk among the trees, hear and see the birds singing in our 50-acre wooded campground. Drop a line into our 5-acre spring-fed stocked lake (catfish, bass and bluegill). Relax on our beach and cool off with a swim. In the evening sit around your campfire and look up at the stars and dream. Make us your home take time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The campground offers 50/30 amp sites and some pull-thrus. Beautiful lakeside tent sites for rental. Activities on weekends. Groups welcome. Camping season runs April 15 through October 15.

Cheif Keokuk Campground
The Chief Keokuk Campground features 70 pads with electrical hook-ups for trailers, plus 25 tent sites (All camping Class B/E). There is a shower building on site. A sanitary dump station is near the camping area. A primitive cabin, Chief Tecumseh, is also available. The cabin is located on a slope overlooking Johnson Lake. A fire grill, table and BBQ grill are provided outside. A full size bed, two sets of bunk beds, a table and benches are provided inside. The cabin has heat and air conditioning as well as two ceiling fans. Reservations can be made, for dates between May 1st and November 1st, at ReserveAmerica.com for the campgrounds and cabin.

Rock Cut State Park Camping - Loves Park
Two lakes set off the park’s 3,092 acres. Pierce Lake, with 162 acres, is a retreat for people wanting to fish, ice fish or ice skate. A second 50-acre Olson Lake is especially for swimmers. Fishing, boat launches, paddleboat and canoe rental, horse and bike trails, cross-country ski trails, concessions.

Shabbona Lake State Park Campground is a semi-wooded area with 150 Class A sites with electricity, showers, vehicular access, boat launch, playground, kid's fishing area, and The Camp Store. Bring your own poles or use The Camp Store's loaner fishing poles! We also have paddle boats that you may rent to enjoy a scenic view of Shabbona Lake. Each campsite has a gravel parking space, picnic table, and a campfire ring. Shabbona Lake State Park has two cabins available for rent. The cabin consists of two rooms that total approx. 200 square feet. Cabins are located near the shore of the lake and are fairly secluded.

Comlara County Park Campgrounds
The scenic Comlara County Park campground offers 144 campsites including: 94 electrified sites (Both 50 amp & 30 amp), 23 non-electric sites, 11 primitive / walk-in sites in the Main Recreation Area (MRA), and 16 primitive / walk-in sites in the White Oak Area (WOA). Water is conveniently located throughout the MRA modern campground. Hot showers and a sanitary dump station are also provided in modern areas. Firewood, ice, and fishing worms are only available during the regular business hours of the Visitor Center and MRA Campground Station. The campground is open year-round.
