The Great War: World War I

Midway Village Museum hosts a new World War I era living history event. entitled "The Great War: World War I at Midway Village Museum." Visitors will walk near encampments, talk to the re-enactors about life as a soldier during The Great War and learn about the various military equipment. Indoor displays will include WWI weapons and artifacts, cavalry and medical units, battles and skirmishes in the Village and much more! For further details, check back regularly or call the museum at 815-397-9112. Visitors may purchase tickets online, at the Museum Store, or at the event gates. Ticket are $10 adults; $5 children and students (3 to 17). Midway Village Museum Members are free. Visitor parking is free.
