Annual Quad City Camaro Club Car Show
If you like Camaros then be sure to make a stop at the Quad City Camaro Club Car Show. This show is free to the public and features all makes and models. Join us Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. (Rain date May 19, 2013) at Jumer's Casino and Hotel in Rock Island, Illinois. For those interested in entering a car in the show, this is a participant judged show. Pre-entries $12 or $15 at the gate. Entry forms are available at www.qcccamaroclub.com. Don't miss the Bald Eagle Days Environmental Fair and Wildlife Art Show at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, Illinois. The show is heralded as the largest event in the Midwest dedicated to the United States' national symbol of freedom. The three-day event includes live eagle, hawk, owl and vulture flying demonstrations along with educational programs by the World Bird Sanctuary of St. Louis, Missouri. The Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum houses the largest private holdings of important original manuscripts and documents. The archives include manuscripts from the fields of literature, science, religion, history, and art. Theatre in the ‘Round atop the bluff since 1968. A unique in-the-round environment beneath original rustic timbers seats for this community theatre group. Six productions representing a wide variety of comedies, dramas and thrillers run from February through October.
