Long Grove's 21st Annual Apple Festival
More than 50 distinctive Long Grove shops and restaurants help celebrate the Apple Festival with unique seasonal gifts and foods, including cider donuts, caramel apples and the Long Grove Apple Haus’ famous brown bag apple pie. Live toe-tapping music, carriage rides, hayrides and children’s activities round out the fest.

Didier Farms' Pumpkin Fest
Bring the family out for this annual fall festival. Hayrides, pony rides, camel rides. Children's kiddie rides, exotic petting zoo, parakeet exhibit, corn maze, concessions, pig races(weekends only). 2014 Taste of Lincolnshire
The Village of Lincolnshire invites local restaurants, businesses and sponsors to participate in the 14th Annual Taste of Lincolnshire event. This year the Taste will be held at the Village Green Center. The Taste of Lincolnshire is a premier community event in the area. It will feature many local restaurants, businesses, live entertainment and attractions.

Des Plaines River Trail Marathon Races
Welcome to year five of the Des Plaines River Trail Half-Marathon, Marathon and 50 Mile Ultra Marathon along the beautiful and fast Des Plaines River Trail. This is a truly special running course. The DPR Trail is a wide, crushed gravel track, free of roots and rocks, and very flat. All of the major road crossings are managed by way of bridges or viaducts This is a great track through alternating lush forests and open wetlands. With cool temperatures expected, and given the flat terrain and ideal running surface, you'll find these to be extremely fast courses. Registration is open until it reaches full capacity or October 10th. Register early and save.

More than 100 local artists will captivate guests at the Long Grove Art Festival with distinctive, original pieces including oil, acrylic, watercolor, jewelry, sculpture, photography, wood, fiber, glass, paper, metal, and mixed media. This vibrant scene will also give emerging artists the chance to show off their wares during this two day celebration. In addition, find creative collectibles within the artistic shops of charming, historic Downtown Long Grove.
