Taste of Chicago
Taste of Chicago is the nation's premier outdoor food festival showcasing the diversity of Chicago's dining community. The delicious array of food served at Taste of Chicago is complemented by music and exciting activities for the entire family. Every summer since 1980, Chicago's beautiful Grant Park on the city's magnificent lakefront has been home to the world's largest food festival.
Chicago Air and Water Show
This summertime favorite brings approximately two million people to the lakefront each year to witness the many feats that will be attempted and performed both in water and air. Civilian and military air crafts perform at soaring heights, while parachute teams and flying aerobatic acts entertain the audience below.
Chicago Blues Festival
Chicago Legend Buddy Guy will headline the 32nd Annual Chicago Blues Festival, the largest free blues festival in the world. During three days on five stages at Grant Park, more than 500,000 blues fans prove that Chicago is the "Blues Capital of the World." Past performers include Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, B.B. King, the late Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy and the late Koko Taylor.

Chicago 47th Annual Pride Parade
Celebrate Chicago's LGBT community at the annual Pride Parade, now in its 47th year! The parade will feature floats, decorated vehicles and marching groups representing organizations, groups, businesses, elected government officials and individuals. Be sure to arrive early to get a good spot!
Lansing Autumn Festival
The annual three-day Lansing Autumn Fest returns for its 5th year. Located at the corner of Ridge and Henry streets in downtown Lansing by the Clock Tower and at Fox Pointe. The family friendly event includes musical entertainment, food vendors, market place and craft fair, kids zone with second entertainment stage and kids games, military recognition day, pancake breakfast, 5K Hero Walk/Run, Pumpkin Cash Raffle and much more. Gaelic Park Irish Fest
Irish Fest brings together the best in Irish music from America, Canada and Europe. In addition to all of the music, there will be Irish sports, dancing, theater & story-telling, a petting zoo, Irish dogs and ponies, and Irish import stories. For the little people, there are magicians, puppets, jugglers, and clowns, and most importantly, unlimited carnival rides are included in the admission price in addition to free parking.
Millennium Park Summer Film Series
Calling all movie buffs! Head to Millennium Park on Tuesday evenings this summer to enjoy free movies at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. It's now home to the latest and most sophisticated outdoor screen with sound projected from the Pavilion's state-of-the-art sound system. The images are bright, clear and visible from the front row to the back of the Great Lawn, so there isn't a bad seat in the park! Be sure to grab a blanket and pack a picnic dinner to enjoy with your friends and family.
Family fun for all ages! Manteno goes all out for this annual fest that features live music, games, crafts, food vendors and a lighted parade. The whole town joins in with city wide garage sales, contests, a 5K run and fabulous fall decorations throughout.
Frankfort Fall Festival
The Frankfort Fall Festival is ranked in the top 15 shows to visit by Sunshine Artist. There are 300 artisan from 30 states selling hand-crafted items at our show which includes local civic organizations selling food items, a carnival, entertainment and a community parade.
Benches on the Avenue
This award-winning public art program features benches that showcase the unique and colorful designs of professional and amateur artists. The theme for 2015 is "Heroes and Villains".
Chicago's Memorial Day Parade
Chicago's Memorial Day Parade honors all men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. The Wreath Laying Ceremony will begin at 11am at the Eternal Flame on Daley Plaza (Dearborn and Washington Streets). The parade will step off at noon and proceed south on State Street from Lake Street to Van Buren Street. The Chicago parade is considered one of the largest Memorial Day parades in the nation. Since 1870, Memorial Day parades have graced the streets of Chicago. Wreath Laying Ceremony begins at 11 am; Parade begins at 12 Noon
Chicago Jazz Festival
Known for its artistic creativity, the Chicago Jazz Festival is a favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition. It promotes awareness and appreciation for all forms of jazz through free, quality live musical performance. Since 1979, the festival's mission is to showcase Chicago's vast jazz talent alongside national and international artists to encourage and educate a jazz audience of all ages.

The only place where you can test ride:unicycles, recumbents, trikes, cargo bikes, tandems and electric bikes all in the same place. Then walk the show and see a full line of the newest accessories, clothing, shoes, etc. Not to mention the touring companies, and bike clubs. You won't want to miss this show. It's the only one of it's kind in the America's.
Midwest Wizard of Oz Fest
The Midwest Wizard of Oz Festival has been a long standing tradition began in 1982 when Wizard of Oz store owner, Jean Nelson, came up with the idea to create an Oz-themed festival. Since then it has grown to be one of the biggest festivals in the nation that produced crowds of about 30,000 people each year.
