Veterans Day Parade
Parade begins at 2pm from the Anna City Park entrance on Davie St. and follows Main St. to Jefferson St. and back to the park. The Anna VFW post invites everyone back to the lodge for hot dogs and chili.
Civil War Weekend
Friday evening is the 8th annual Lincoln Legacy Dinner at the Anna Art Center. Saturday & Sunday includes speakers on local history during the Civil War, historic storytelling, period music, art, food and reenactment as well as period displays.
Holiday House at Magnolia Manor
The 14 room historic mansion is decorated for the Holidays, with many of the decorations for sale. Holiday luncheons can be scheduled with reservations. Luncheons include a served meal and a house tour. Regular tours are offered from 1 to 4pm daily.
Mardi Gras Brunch & Historic Mansion Tour
Magnolia Manor, a mansion built in 1869, boasts 14 rooms featuring Italianate architecture with high ceilings and spacious rooms adorned with fine original furnishings designed for the gracious living of the period.
