Wood Dale Prairie Fest
Prairie Fest is a four day festival held in Wood Dale, Illinois. The fest began in 2001 as a one day picnic to encourage community involvement and togetherness. The one day celebration has grown into a four day festival, and boasts culinary delights, live music, a carnival and a fireworks display.
French Connection Day
French Connection Day celebrates Cantigny's French roots, which began when Col. Robert McCormick served with the Army's 1st Infantry Division during World War I at the Battle of Cantigny, near Paris. Great food and entertainment with a French flair are highlights of this free one-day festival.
Dog Days at Cantigny Park
For one day only, dog lovers can enjoy a fun day at the park with their "best friends." Bring your dog out and enjoy a special dog play area, vendors from the dog world and some specially trained pooches to entertain. All dogs must have current vaccination tags and be social with others.
Vietnam Special Exhibit at Cantigny Park
The First Division Museum is proud to offer "Five Years in the Jungle: Vietnam Experiences of the 1st Infantry Division 1965-1970." The exhibit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Big Red One's deployment to Vietnam.
Enjoy vintage games for kids, special tours and exhibits and free parking all day as the park celebrates the birthday of Cantigny benefactor Robert R. McCormick (1880-1955). This year's event will feature a free evening performance by Chicago Sinfonietta in honor of Cantigny Park's 60th anniversary!

Warrenville Holly Days
Holly Days, sponsored by the Warrenville Park District is the City's annual holiday celebration that marks Santa's official entry into Warrenville. Guests can enjoy a warm bonfire, raffles, free horse and carriage rides, hot cider and cookies, and, of course, a visit with Santa. Local Park District and school dance troops, singers, and bands entertain attendees during the event. It is at this event that Warrenville officially turns on its holiday lights creating an array of colors for passersby along Route 56 to see. Holly Days, primarily for Warrenville residents, gives the community an opportunity to come together and kick off the holiday season.
Summer Daze is Warrenville's summer music festival and car show. The event boasts children's rides, a craft show and bazaar, bands and local talent, karaoke, and delicious food and drink from local establishments. Most notably, however, the event features unique cars, motorcycles, and boats.

The French Market is located on Park Boulevard, immediately west of Ardmore, by the gazebo. The French Market is accessible by the Prairie Path. Sycamore's Steam Show and Threshing Bee
The History of the Northern Illinois Steam Power Club invites you to their annual Sycamore Steam Show & Threshing Bee August 13th - 16th, 2015. This family friendly event is a great way to step back in time and see many antique machines at work. Threshing using steam engines and gas tractors. Also, a sawmill in operation sawing logs into lumber using Steam Power and Baling Straw using Club's 1900 Sandwich stationary wire-tie baler are just a few of the engaging machine exhibitions that will be presented at the Bee. There will also be Barrel Train rides, rope making, mule team wagon rides and much more to entertain everyone.
