2015 Christkindl Holiday Festival
Come to downtown Barrington for the annual Christkindl Festival. 3rd Annual Color Aloft Balloon Festival
Bring the family out for this exciting new event held at Central Park in Grayslake. The Color Aloft Festival will begin with hot air balloons being inflated and compete in a "Fox and Hounds" contest in which competing balloons seek to land closest to the 'Fox'. Balloons will be retrieved and return to the park. After dark they will be internally illuminated by their burners and glow. Enjoy family activities, a Civil War Era baseball game, live music and food vendors.
MuckFest MS - Chicago
The run is pure athletic hilarity on a 5K course full of mud, and featuring 15+ outrageous obstacles that will spin, swing and fling you up, down and sideways. Entry fees are $55 by Apr 29 and $105 on race day.
Windy City Dub Fest
The event will include VW and Audi judging contest for categories of 'Best of'. Winners will take home an award. Online registration will be available in May of 2015. Car Clubs are welcome and will not be limited to just VW’s and Audi’s and will be open to all makes and models. Come with a car or just as a spectator. Lake County’s biggest comic, toy, game and art convention. Legions of Craft Beer
Plans are in motion for the first Legions of Craft Beer. This event will include at least 30 beer vendors, Gurnee restaurants, food trucks and a wide range of bands. There will also be a shuttle service from the Metra train in Libertyville and Waukegan for the attendees from out of the area. Please watch for updated information.
