Egyptian Theatre - DeKalb, IL. For over 18 years, the unforgettable trio (Frank, Sammy and Dean) excited audiences nightly at the Copa Room and the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Egyptian Theatre Flashlight Tour
**NEW for 2015** Join Egyptian Theatre staff as they provide a tour of the historic Egyptian Theatre using just your flashlights. Guests will be treated to a behind the scenes backstage tour which will highlight the haunted history of the theatre. This is the tour that reveals all the secrets and lets you go places the public has never seen. Don’t forget to bring your camera! You never know what you might capture in your pictures. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students & seniors. Guests must bring a flashlight for the tour. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. "Nothing's Sweeter than a Child"
LaSalle County CASA (court appointed special advocate) is sponsoring it's 8th annual "Nothing's Sweeter than a Child" chocolate sampling and auction event. We have 20+ vendors who allow unlimited sampling of their chocolate delights. Music is provided and a silent and live auction are part of the event. There is cookie decorating and face painting for the children. Proceeds enable our volunteers to continue their one-on-one work with abused and neglected children. Attendance is 600+, location is at Celebrations 150, 740 E. U.S. 6 in Utica from 1-4pm. A program listing all auction items is also provided.

Book Mouse Presents...Poet Night at Hank's Restaurant, featuring Marydale Stewart (of Spring Valley). She will be reading selections from, and discussing, her latest book of poetry, "Let the Thunder In". Marydale will be joined by award-winning author/poet Janet Ruth Heller and local published poet, Paul Wheeler. Spring Fashion Show at Reddick Mansion
Featuring clothing and accessories from local boutique clothier, Iconic. Refreshments will be served. William Reddick left his house as a gift to the City of Ottawa for use as a public library and reading room. Reddick's home became known as “Reddick's Library” and opened to the public on September 19, 1888. It served as the public library until 1975 when a combination of endowment and revenue sharing funds enabled construction of a larger facility that could accommodate the library's growing collections.
