3rd Annual Color Aloft Balloon Festival
Bring the family out for this exciting new event held at Central Park in Grayslake. The Color Aloft Festival will begin with hot air balloons being inflated and compete in a "Fox and Hounds" contest in which competing balloons seek to land closest to the 'Fox'. Balloons will be retrieved and return to the park. After dark they will be internally illuminated by their burners and glow. Enjoy family activities, a Civil War Era baseball game, live music and food vendors.
87th Annual Lake County Fair

MuckFest MS - Chicago
The run is pure athletic hilarity on a 5K course full of mud, and featuring 15+ outrageous obstacles that will spin, swing and fling you up, down and sideways. Entry fees are $55 by Apr 29 and $105 on race day.
Windy City Dub Fest
The event will include VW and Audi judging contest for categories of 'Best of'. Winners will take home an award. Online registration will be available in May of 2015. Six Flags Great America is fun for the whole family with 14 heart-pounding roller coasters, a free water park with over 30 heart pounding water slides, spectacular shows and parades, family rides and big pint-sized fun for the kids with children's areas and over 35 rides for the little ones. Legions of Craft Beer
Plans are in motion for the first Legions of Craft Beer. This event will include at least 30 beer vendors, Gurnee restaurants, food trucks and a wide range of bands. There will also be a shuttle service from the Metra train in Libertyville and Waukegan for the attendees from out of the area. Please watch for updated information.
Turkey Testicle Festival
It’s a great night as you don’t have to bring a dish to pass or talk to relatives. If you have never tried a turkey testicle, this is your chance! No need to worry about the weather the festival is held under one huge heated tent, with plenty of portable potties available. The bar is open but the number of people allowed inside at any one time is limited, as it can become pretty packed. There will also be hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts for sale to remember the night. “So grab a friend that's never been, enjoy a cold brew, great music, and hot nuts!" This is a 21 and older event only so bring your ID. Hope to see you there.
Lake Zurich Area Triathlon
The area's premier USAT sanctioned Olympic distance triathlon continues its' tradition in Lake Zurich with the Lake Zurich Area Triathlon at Paulus Park. In addition to the one loop swim, the event will feature an updated bike and run course that will primarily be flat and fast. Register now through 11:59pm July 10. There will be No race day registration.
Lake Zurich's Farmer's Market
Enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables along with pies, doughnuts, Wisconsin cheese, dips and sausage, fresh made cookies, gluten free snacks, eggs, poultry, breads, soaps and much more. Sharpening by Kris, who sharpens knives, garden tools, skates and more, will also be there. Also local artisans will be displaying artwork and handcrafted items. Market held at Paulus Park.
Lambs Farm Famous Farmyard
The Lambs Farm Farmyard will open daily March 30th through November 1, 2015. Come and enjoy Lambs Farm's famous Farmyard. Meet Miss Wiggles, the 450-pound pig with an affinity for Bavarian Crème donuts and Oreo Cookies®, and meet all of the new miniature animals, including Levi the miniature horse. Climb into the petting zoo with goats, sheep and lambs. Check out the llamas, alpacas, cows, horses, ducks and more. Enjoy a ride on the old-fashion carousel or the train. David Adler 35th Festival of the Arts
The David Adler Music and Arts Center is proud to present its 35th Annual Festival of the Arts in beautiful Cook Park located in historic downtown Libertyville, Illinois. Twilight Shuffle 5K Run
Run through the historic neighborhoods of the east side of Libertyville. Professional timing. Families are encouraged (no children under 9) to run. After finishing the course, all participants are invited to join their fellow racers for a fabulous post-race party (including light dinner and non-alcoholic drinks for all registered participants) at the new Mickey Finn's Brewery. No registrations will be accepted or processed after 12pm on race day.

Vernon Hills Summer Celebration 2015

The French Market of Vernon Hills
This market will include local growers, regional sourced cheeses, breads and other foods, but there also may be pottery, wood carvings, imported olive oils and crafts. Additionally a French market canopy system will be set in place with the canopies coming from Paris. The market will be held at the Metra Station parking lot.
Nearly Sane Trail Half Marathon
The Nearly Sane Trail Half Marathon will be 13.1 miles through the trails of Half Day Forest Preserve (permit pending), onto the trails of the Des Plaines River trail and back to the festival area where you can enjoy your well-deserved beer and hot dog! The start/finish area will be located at Shelter C of Half Day Forest Preserve in Lake County and take place on the beautiful trails of Lake County, which are some of the best that Chicagoland has to offer!
4th Annual All Camaro Show
