“The Third Testament,” the annual Holy Boulders Bouldering Competition
Nestled on a hillside in Pomona, IL, the Holy Boulders is a world-class climbing area offering classic lines of all grades on perfectly textured sandstone. The bouldering competition will help promote access to some of the finest sandstone bouldering in the country, the climbing area is known as “The Holy Boulders.” Last year the ICA’s Holy Boulders competition brought together over 200 competitors from 7 states and raised $15,000 to permanently secure climbing access at the Holy Boulders.

Don't miss these two beautifully decorated Deere family mansions during the holiday season. The 19th Century Christmas features the interiors of the homes decorated for the holidays; along with living-history volunteers, Choir performances, Santa Claus, music, and make-and-take activities for the children. These homes once belonged to the John Deere family and are now operated by the William Butterworth Memorial Trust. Open noon to 5 p.m. Free admission.

Bring your racing and running season to a close in historic Oak Park with the flat, fast, and scenic route of the 2015 Frank Lloyd Wright Races, featuring a 5K Run/Walk, the 10K Run, and the Youth Mile for ages 7-14.
