Bike MS Tour De Farms
Thousand of cyclists to participate in Bike MS: Tour De Farms in DeKalb. Bike MS: Tour de Farms is one of the largest fundraisers of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Illinois Chapter. Children under 12 years old are invited to participate in a special Bike MS course exclusively for junior riders. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older and submit a $15 registration fee. Also on Saturday, five Chicago-based bands will perform from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Residents of DeKalb and the surrounding communities are invited to attend. Registration for Bike MS is open to individual riders, teams, volunteers and virtual riders.
Biking with Beanzie
Biking with Beanzie is a recreational ride presented by Kishwaukee Kiwanis Club of DeKalb and sponsored by Kishwaukee Community Hospital.The ride route consists of primarily flat rural roads with some rolling terrain with estimated ride options of 23, 43, 63, 80, or 101 miles. All roads are well-paved, lightly traveled and posted with signs containing ride information and bits of Beanzie humor. This year also includes 3-mile, 5-mile, & 8-mile community bicycle pathway route options.
Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Senior Services for this fun family event! Families will eat a hot breakfast with the Easter Bunny, create crafts, play games, and then, at 9:00 am, hunt for Easter Eggs! The Egg Hunt will be held outside, so please dress appropriately. The cost is $5 a person and includes breakfast, activities, and the egg hunt. All ages are required to register. Chanticleer Presents "Over the Moon"
Known as an orchestra of voices, this popular 12-member male chorus Chanticleer celebrates the over-the-moon exuberance of popular composers. “Over the Moon” includes magnificent early statements by Claudio Monteverdi and Antoine Busnois giving way to the more romantic yearnings of Gustav Mahler. The program features works by Elgar and Finzi, and a new setting of Albert Giraud’s Pierrot Lunaire poems by Nico Muhly. Registration required. Contact the university for further information.

Easter in the Country
The 35th Annual Easter in the Country will be held at Sandwich schools south of Route 34 on Wells, Lions & Dayton Street. Stop by Sandwich to see beautiful crafts such as painted windows, lighted bottles, pop can jewelry, hair bows, porcelain flowers and handmade baskets. Shuttle service will be provided to each location, no strollers allowed. The $3.00 admission fee benefits the Sandwich School Music Association.

Freedom Train at the Paramount Theatre
