25th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival
Line-up 12:30 p.m. at Lemont Safety Village. Parade starts promptly at 1:00 p.m. Route: South on Stephen to Main, West to VFW Hall. Plenty of parking at the Metra Lot. Featuring: Lemont's own Irish Queen, The Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band and Hughes Academy of Irish Dance. Bring your family and friends and join the parade! Visit the VFW Hall, 15780 New Avenue following the parade for refreshments and entertainment.

Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Senior Services for this fun family event! Families will eat a hot breakfast with the Easter Bunny, create crafts, play games, and then, at 9:00 am, hunt for Easter Eggs! The Egg Hunt will be held outside, so please dress appropriately. The cost is $5 a person and includes breakfast, activities, and the egg hunt. All ages are required to register. Chanticleer Presents "Over the Moon"
Known as an orchestra of voices, this popular 12-member male chorus Chanticleer celebrates the over-the-moon exuberance of popular composers. “Over the Moon” includes magnificent early statements by Claudio Monteverdi and Antoine Busnois giving way to the more romantic yearnings of Gustav Mahler. The program features works by Elgar and Finzi, and a new setting of Albert Giraud’s Pierrot Lunaire poems by Nico Muhly. Registration required. Contact the university for further information.
Charlotte's Web at the Paramount Theatre
Wilbur the pig has a problem: Farmer Zuckerman wants to turn him into pork chops! Good thing his friend, a little gray spider named Charlotte, has a plan to create a sticky solution. Charlotte weaves the words “Some Pig” in her web, catching Farmer Zuckerman’s attention and making Wilbur a prize pig! But will Charlotte’s trick ensure Wilbur’s spot on the farm forever? Based on E.B. White’s treasured story, TheatreWorks USA’s production of Charlotte’s Web will teach the importance of bravery, compassion and the true meaning of friendship. Naper Settlement is transformed into a Civil War encampment where visitors can meet famous figures of the past and experience firsthand a turbulent time period in our nation’s history. Hundreds of reenactors participate, staging a battle, complete with raging cannons and marching infantry. Learn how the nation changed through the insights of famous people who made a difference in history. An annual tradition at Naper Settlement for over 25 years, the family-friendly event features food, fun and shopping on "Sutler's Row" for traditional Civil War-era reproduction products.

Frankfort Fall Festival
The Frankfort Fall Festival is ranked in the top 15 shows to visit by Sunshine Artist. There are 300 artisan from 30 states selling hand-crafted items at our show which includes local civic organizations selling food items, a carnival, entertainment and a community parade.
Frankfort Half Marathon
The Frankfort Half Marathon will begin and end in the beautiful historic district of downtown Frankfort. The race will commence right outside the door of Running Excels on the Old Plank Trail and run westward. After 2.7 miles of running on the scenic, tree-lined Old Plank Trail, the racers will turn off into the Hickory Creek Forest Preserve. The rolling hills of the forest preserve will provide a picturesque tour for the runners as they reach the halfway and turn-around point in the race. The runners will then proceed back through the forest preserve and to the Old Plank Trail for their final journey towards the finish line and the post-race party on the Breidert Green. 7AM.
Freedom Train at the Paramount Theatre
A thrilling, inspiring journey on the Underground Railroad with Harriet Tubman! Born into slavery, Harriet escaped a Maryland plantation by following a safe route laid by the Quakers. After making it to safety, Harriet became one of the most celebrated “conductors” on the Underground Railroad, fearlessly guiding more than 300 slaves through the dangers of the South to freedom. Freedom Train not only follows Harriet Tubman’s incredible story, but it’s a celebration of dedication, survival and the human spirit, all set to the beautiful dance, dialogue and songs of the times.
