12th Annual Spring Housewalk
"Decades of Design in River Forest" is the theme of our 2015 spring house walk, which features five homes in River Forest, spanning 125 years of architectural design and community history. The 12th annual walking tour of the interiors of five private homes takes place from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd. This year's walk puts the spotlight on the wide variety of homes in the village, from the landmark Blocki House, built around the time the village was incorporated in 1880, to a contemporary home built in 2005 which features a glass atrium. Advanced tickets are $30, $25 for members and can be purchased on our website. Tickets also can be purchased for $35 on the day of the walk at Christ Episcopal Church.

25th Annual Berwyn Route 66 Car Show
The 25th Annual Berwyn Rt66 Car Show sponsored by Paisans Pizzeria & Bar will be held on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn. Americana and roots music fans will find a full menu of talent at FitzGerald's 34th Annual American Music Festival brought to you by FitzGerald's. The summer 3-day event features more than 50 artists from Chicago and around the country. FitzGerald's American Music Festival takes place rain or shine on three stages -- club, tent and SideBar. Hours are 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on July 2, 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. on July 3 and 4; 1 p.m.-3 a.m.
6th Annual Bloody Mary Fest
Judged by a host of celebrity experts and real people, professional and amateur mixologists compete for the title of Best Bloody Mary in the Midwest. In it’s sixth year, the festival includes the very popular 5K Buddy Challenge, live entertainment, plenty of food vendors, beverages, and more! This event is held at Everts Park from 10am-5pm. A Gift: Selections from the Cleve Carney Bequest
In 2014, Elmhurst Art Museum was bequeathed nearly 300 works from the collection of Cleve Carney (1939-2013), a longtime Board member, donor and supporter of the museum. The largest gift in EAM's history, these paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and video installations by an international group of artists will be a significant addition to the collection, broadening the scope of the museum's holdings of contemporary art. This presentation highlights select work from the donation and serves as a tribute to the vision, the patronage and the generosity of Cleve Carney, who will be truly missed.

An Evening With Santana at Ravinia
Santana became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, Santana, which pioneered rock, salsa and jazz fusion. The band's sound featured his melodic, blues-based guitar lines set against Latin and African rhythms featuring percussion instruments such as timbales and congas not generally heard in rock music. Santana continued to work in these forms over the following decades. He will be performing 2 nights.
