In its eighth year, the Salt Fork River Art & Music Festival provides a pastoral and relaxed setting for art, music, and wine lovers to shop for fine crafts, folk art, fine art, and more. The fair includes 50 artists (some demonstrating their craft), live music and entertainment, tasty food, and wine slushies. A fun, laid back, friendly, cool and entertaining venue, this event draws an eclectic crowd from nearby cities in both Illinois and Indiana. The Urbana Sweetcorn Festival is Champaign County’s largest free festival. Urbana’s signature summer event is a two-day celebration of food, live music, arts and crafts and of course - all the delicious, locally grown sweet corn you can eat. Taking place in the heart of downtown Urbana, the 2016 festival will run Friday, August 26 from 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, August 27 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

2016 marks the 12th year of the Pygmalion Festival in Champaign-Urbana, which takes place over the course of eight days between components: Music, Literature, Made Technology, and the newest piece-Food.
