Cock-A-Doodle Brew Fest
A one of a kind festival celebrating craft beer, wings and live music and benefiting Operation Support our Troops. The inaugural event will be held at the Hollywood Casino in downtown Aurora from 12 pm-4 pm. Cock-A-Doodle Brew Fest will be offering an atmosphere like no other. Breweries from around the United States will be available for tastings and a variety of food will be available for purchase. For entertainment, a solid lineup of local bands will be playing, such as Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones, Evolution Rock Band and 7th Heaven Band.
Naper Settlement Oktoberfest
Be part of an annual autumn event that celebrates our community’s heritage. Under our large heated tent, enjoy live musical entertainment ranging from classic German Oompa music to classic rock, along with German beer and cuisine. Family-friendly activities will be available on Saturday from noon-5 p.m. The entrance to the festival will be through the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center. Parking is available in the Municipal Parking Garage on the corner of Eagle and Aurora and in the Naper Settlement visitor's lot on Porter Avenue and Webster Street. All proceeds benefit the Naperville Heritage Society.

As the City of Aurora’s official kick-off to the holiday season, this family oriented event will be filled with merry making moments and a sleigh full of free fun for the entire family! The event starts with the Holiday Parade ushering in the jolly old elf himself, Santa along with Mrs. Claus. It’s followed by a grand fireworks display along the banks of the Fox River. The twinkling lit streets will be filled with a tree lighting, live music, costumed characters, ice sculpting, local art, food vendors, festive photo-ops, live reindeer a trackless train and more. The Rock n' Roll Preschool tour will get you all shook up, mixing some of these new hits with Wiggles classics such as Hot Potato!, Rock – a –Bye Your Bear and Do the Propeller. Illinois Philhamonic Orchestra Brahms Symphony #4 at Rialto Square Theatre
Maestro Danzmayr leads the orchestra in the completion of the Brahms cycle with the majestic and melodic Symphony No. 4. Cellist and IPO favorite Joshua Roman also takes the stage for the World Premiere of his Cello Concerto, a piece commissioned by IPO. Adding to the splendor of the evening is Wagner's Rienzi Overture which showcases the orchestra with its eloquent and brilliant lines.
