Cowden Pioneer Days
This family friendly festival is set in the city park with plenty of carnival rides, craft vendors, flea market, foods, etc. There is also an IPRA sanctioned rodeo that takes place Friday. A demolition derby takes place on Saturday. You can also enjoy the arm wrestling. There will also be a large parade Saturday morning. Tour the historical cabins set in the park along with collections.
Greenville Graffiti Car Show
The 4th annual car show is open to pre-1990 cars and trucks for judging. Plaques are given to the top vehicles. The car show will feature Butch Patrick and Pat Priest, Eddie and Marilyn on “The Munsters,” signing autographs.
Abraham Lincoln Pageants
Dramatizations and pageants will be along the walking trail at Rogier Park portraying citizens and dignitaries of the Capital Era. There will be Civil War re-enactors, camp sites, drill and reviews both days. Don’t miss the many tents with local Indian artifacts and more on display as well as activities for children.
American Farm Heritage Days
Heritage Days include tractor displays featuring Case and Leader tractors, as well as makes and models of tractors for viewing. Includes 4-corners tractorade, parade, car show, games, Hill’s Fort, crafts, food, train ride, plowing demonstrations, blacksmith, kids’ pedal pull, petting zoo, live music and more.
