2014 Lincoln Art and Balloon Festival
Come out to the Logan County Airport to experience awesome hot air balloon launches and evening balloon glows. Downtown, enjoy musical entertainment, food, an art and craft show, the Art of Wine, and much more.
Apple and Pork Festival
Since 1968, the Apple N' Pork Festival with its delightful aroma of smoked ham and spicy apple butter, has ushered in autumn for Dewitt County. From its beginning as a modest event, centered around a kettle of soup and stack of sandwiches, the festival has grown to one of the state's favorite fall festivals. Wear comfortable shoes and stroll through booths offering foods, crafts, antiques, entertainment, and more! Be sure to tour the museum. Plan to spend the day! Tram and bus service to various locations available for a small fee. Located at C. H. Moore Homestead & throughout Clinton.
Celebrate Bloomington's Lincoln connections and the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War with a weekend of activities at multiple sites. Highlights will include Storyteller Brian Fox Ellis, Civil War generals, infantry and cavalry encampments, performances by the 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band and the Orpheus Mandolin Orchestra. Living history interpreters in period dress, including Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln, will be on hand at numerous locations. Children's activities, carriage rides and demonstrations of period craftsmanship will also be features, along with cannon volleys and skirmishes between troops and more. The event is free and open to the public.
Pekin Marigold Festival
The Pekin Marigold Festival has been one of the great community festivals of Central Illinois. The festival includes a carnival, entertainment, an arts and crafts fair, parade, food, and much, much more. Special guest this year is Mountain Man from A&E's Duck Dynasty.
Morton Pumpkin Festival
"Home of the Nestlé Libby's Pumpkin Canning Operations, Morton is proud to say that over 80% of the world's canned pumpkin is processed right here. Each September, in celebration of the pumpkin canning season, Morton hosts the Morton Pumpkin Festival. This year's event will be the festival's 48th year. Our theme is Pumpkins of the West. From our opening day Balloon Release to the Pumpkin Festival Parade, the Morton Pumpkin Festival is a Central Illinois attraction. In fact, the festival draws over 70,000 people each year to downtown Morton. The Morton Pumpkin Festival includes daily live entertainment, a carnival with over 30 rides, the Pumpkin Craft Faire, Pumpkin Expo, Pumpkin Grille, Pumpkin Sweet Shoppe, Pumpkin Classic Run/Walk and over 20 special events and activities that range from pageants to sporting events. Many of our visitors come to taste our homemade foods. You will find a wide variety of high-quality and homemade items to sample at the Pumpkin Grille including our famous butterfly pork chops, ribeye sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, pumpkin baked beans, and pumpkin chili. Our Pumpkin Sweet Shoppe is a popular location to try homemade pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin fudge, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin donuts. Barn Quilts of DeWitt County Bus Tour
Gearing up for our fourth year of creating barn quilt magic in DeWitt County. Throughout the county, vibrant, hand-painted 8’X8’ quilt blocks on ‘wooden canvases’ adorn numerous barns, making a drive through the countryside all the more enjoyable. Bus tours are on the first Saturday in June and October from 9am - 1pm.
Flying Fish Festival and Bow Fishing Tournament
A family friendly festival highlighted by the first inaugural bow fishing tournament! This event will include cash prizes, games and educational displays, and local chefs preparing dishes with the flying fish at Bass Pro Shops. The tournament is for registered competitors only, but the additional activities are free to the public! All partners of this event see the Flying Fish Festival as one piece of a larger effort to deal with an Illinois River invasive species: Asian Carp.

The Mill Annual Cruise-In
Join us from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a car cruise-in with great classic cars, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. The Mill's new Made in the USA T-shirts with the new Mill logo will be available for purchase. The event is co-sponsored by Railsplitter Antique Auto Club.
Logan County Fair
Daily activities include 4-H shows, a queen pageant, live entertainment and a carnival full of food, games and Logan County displays.
Get Lit New Year's Eve Fun Run
Now in it's 13th year, Get Lit is a fun way to "run" in the new year! Open to men, women and children, this event is a non-competitive run/walk on a two-mile paved course through the Folepi's Winter Wonderland drive-through display.
