Open Water Swim at Lincoln Trail State Park
A rectangular 1.2 and 2.4 mile loop course marked by buoys, lifeguards, rowboats, kayaks and other safety officials. Finish with a brief run of beach sand through finish chute.
Mill Creek Mayhem
Toughest trail race in the Midwest. Extreme 12K trail run and 1 mile mini mayhem. The footing (What footing?) is hilly, muddy (several water crossings), and loose in places. The trail is not maintained (non-existent) in some places. Expect to be scratched and bruised. Located in the beautiful Mill Creek Park in Marshall Illinois.

An intense 1500 meter swim, 40K bike ride, 6 mile run along with a 400 meter swim, 10 mile bike ride and 3 mile run. Location is the beautiful Mill Creek Park located in Marshall Illinois.
Clark County Fair
The 118th annual Clark County Fair features beauty pageants, harness racing, running races, tractor/truck pulls, motocross, demolition derby, horse shows, alpaca and llama show, livestock exhibits, C Bar rodeo, carnival rides and family fun. $5 all you can ride. Free to enter the gates.
Marshall Autumn Fest
Located on the Courthouse Square and featuring a variety of events, amazing food, live entertainment, vendors and so much family fun. Includes a car/truck/motorcycle show and a large parade on Saturday at 11am.
Hometown Holly Day
Over 50 vendors to complete your Christmas shopping. Local shops will be offering discounts. There will be breakfast with Santa at the Methodist Church, put on by the Optimist Club. There will also be a cookie walk at the Catholic Church and a light parade at dusk. Bingo at Harlan Hall will complete the fun filled day!
Annual Casey Popcorn Festival
Some call it an end-of-summer festival; others think of it as the beginning of the fall season. Casey residents will tell you the Casey Popcorn Festival is just good old-fashioned family fun! Located in the century-old Fairview Park, the Casey Popcorn Festival has earned its reputation as the Premier Family Festival in a two-state area. Music fills the air almost continuously as live bands offer oldies, classic rock, country, and southern Gospel. Kids entertainers such as magicians and animal shows are featured, as well as a huge carnival, more than 60 craft booths, a car show, festival food, and free popcorn, the official snack food of Illinois.
