Visitors Center Holiday Gift Expo
Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center, 4596 US Highway 20 East, Freeport. 8 am to 7 pm. Shop for unique local products during this special expo at the Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center. Over a hundred local vendors with products ranging from Pretzel items to books to cards to rugs to mugs to more are featured. The gifts are either produced in Stephenson County or highlight some aspect of local culture and history. Open: 8 am - 7 pm seven days a week.
Christmas with the Taylor’s
Join them for an evening of holiday fun. The historic mansion will be decorated in its holiday finery. Enjoy homemade cookies, hors d’oeuvres, tea, and holiday punch. Special holiday music will be provided. Entries from the Gingerbread House Contest will be on display and you can help pick the winner! A special kids Christmas room will provide fun with old fashioned games, classic Christmas videos, and maybe even a surprise visit from Santa! Bald Eagle Watch - Fulton
Stewards of the Upper Mississippi River Refuge & the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will be presenting the 31st Annual Bald Eagle Watch on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Eagle viewing will be held at Lock and Dam 13 in Fulton, Illinois off IL Hwy 84 starting at 8am.
