Lambs Farm Famous Farmyard
The Lambs Farm Farmyard will open daily March 25th through October 30, 2016. Meet Miss Wiggles, the 450-pound pig with an affinity for Bavarian Crème donuts and Oreo Cookies®, and meet all of the new miniature animals, including Levi the miniature horse. Climb into the petting zoo with goats, sheep and lambs. Check out the llamas, alpacas, cows, horses, ducks and more. Enjoy a ride on the old-fashion carousel or the train. Sycamore's Steam Show and Threshing Bee
The History of the Northern Illinois Steam Power Club invites you to their annual Sycamore Steam Show & Threshing Bee. This family friendly event is a great way to step back in time and see many antique machines at work. Threshing using steam engines and gas tractors. Also, a sawmill in operation sawing logs into lumber using Steam Power and Baling Straw using Club's 1900 Sandwich stationary wire-tie baler are just a few of the engaging machine exhibitions that will be presented at the Bee. There will also be Barrel Train rides, rope making, mule team wagon rides and much more to entertain everyone.

Holly Days, sponsored by the Warrenville Park District is the City's annual holiday celebration that marks Santa's official entry into Warrenville. The 19th Annual Lincolnshire Art Festival
The festival hosts 100 juried artists from around the country in the Village Green of Lincolnshire and offers extraordinary examples of fine art and fine craft in a variety of mediums and price points. Olde England comes alive in Historic Downtown Antioch with lifelike figures representing scenes from the Dickens Era. Antioch will proudly displayed 45 Dickens characters for people to tour. Each character has a plaque describing the scene and also serves as an educational tool for students. 139th Annual Summer Festival Oktoberfest in August

McHenry County Fair
The McHenry County Fair is a 68 year tradition held in Woodstock, Illinois. At the fair you can see 4-H, Open, and Junior Open livestock and non-livestock shows, educational displays revolving around conservation and agriculture, various vendors from different businesses and organizations across the county, a carnival, and a variety of ground and grandstand entertainment. It is an event for families to come to create summertime memories that last a lifetime.
Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival
The Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival will be presenting its 2015 festival from July 24 – 31 at AMC Randhurst 12 in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The festival regularly exhibits over 30 films from around the globe that compete for a variety of awards that range in genre, production, performance and audience categories. Each film selected for exhibition and competition is screened in one theater over the course of eight days. Judges experience each film for the first time along with the audience.
The 38th Annual Alpine Races
Presented by the Alpine Runners, this is a 1/2 Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, Youth Mile, and also offers kid's races. Something for all runners and the whole family. The races run through the streets and along the shores of beautiful Paulus Park in Lake Zurich. Gatorade, water, and time splits will be available along the course. Food and drinks will be available to participants at the finish line. No dogs, strollers, bikes, rollerblades or headphones are allowed in the races please.

Come taste the best chili in the State of Illinois and share in the excitement. Three categories of competition: (1) Illinois State Championship Chili Cook-Off (2) Traditional (includes Restaurant Division) (3) New Salsa. Chili & Salsa tasting begins at 2 pm. Tomáseen Foley's A Celtic Christmas at James Lumber Center
From the infinite treasury of Ireland's cultural heritage comes Tomáseen Foley's A Celtic Christmas - a recreation of a night before Christmas in a remote farmhouse in the west of Ireland in the 1940s. Neighbors gather around the fireside for a night of traditional Irish music, song, dance and storytelling from native Irish storyteller, Tomáseen Foley. There is magic in the air when the neighbors knock sparks off the flagstone floors with their dancing and the rafters sing with fiery traditional music.
