Lansing Autumn Festival
The annual three-day Lansing Autumn Fest returns for its 4th year at Fox Point & Park Plaza. Winter Holiday Hayride
Our annual holiday hayrides will feature the food, fun and traditions from the pioneers of North America. We'll ride on our decorated hay wagon through the streets of Palos Heights singing Christmas carols then return to the Nature Center to enjoy food, crafts and other activities. Registration and payment to be made in person or by mail no later than the Monday before hayride. $8 per person.
Fall Hayride and Campfire
October is pumpkin time! Join Lake Katherine for a fall hayride followed by pumpkin painting, treats and songs around the campfire. 15th Annual Fall Family Fun Fest
Enjoy spending time with friends and family on a Fall afternoon. Carnival games, pony/hay rides, face paining, balloon twisting, costume contest and a Spooktacular performance!
Brace yourself, exhale, and enter. It's dark, it's foggy, it's creepy. It's shockingly, frightfully, screamingly delightful! Get back in line- you'll want to go again! The Haunted Hallway is a scary event not appropriate for children under 8. Parents are asked to use judgement before visiting. Ticket sales end at 8:30pm. No advance tickets sold for this event.
Enjoy an autumn evening listening to live entertainment, train stories and making s'mores by the bon fire. Participate in the Hobo costume contest and walk through the Illinois Central caboose. This event is located on Park Avenue, at the Rail Park.
Come one, come all kids in costume for a Lansing tradition! We'll shut down Ridge Road to show off our Halloween finery! The parade will step off promptly at 10:30am from the Kilroy's parking lot. Parade participants may check in starting at 9:30am. Costume awards will be presented and all participating children will receive a candy bag.
