Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo
December 18th & 19th December 26th - 31st January 1st 4-9pm Start a new family tradition at Chicagoland's largest light festival featuring over 120 animated light displays and million twinkling lights. Come celebrate the holiday season with family and friends during Brookfield Zoos 29th annual Holiday Magic. Plus, there is a special dolphin show each evening at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the zoo restaurants and food stands will be open with full menus and holiday treats, and gift shops will have hundreds of unique items for those hard-to-shop-for loved ones.Enjoy a full schedule of nightly music and entertainment in the Pavilions. Outside enjoy nightly ice carving and an amazing magic show. Then step inside the Holly Jolly Theater and enjoy performances by local choirs and many more holiday themed performances. 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m Regular parking and admission fees apply. Breakfast with Santa at the Brookfield Zoo
The family can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus along with some special zoo costumed characters. Photo opportunities will be available with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Event also features musical entertainment. December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 at the Discovery Center. The breakfast seatings are at 9am and 11am. Reservations are required.
Christmas Concert at Gaelic Park
This new act, making their first appearance in the Chicagoland area, is fresh, talented & unique. Their repertoire features a blend of Irish ballads, popular classics and contemporary songs. The six brothers, with a passion for singing and performing from a very young age, hail from Co. Wicklow in Ireland. They have just completed a very successful Irish tour and have made several appearances on RTE television & performed at the Rose of Tralee festival.
