The McHenry County Fair is a 68 year tradition held in Woodstock, Illinois. 139th Annual Summer Festival Oktoberfest in August
Fun times for all ages at the annual Octoberfest held at the Schwaben Center. German Food, 800 seat beer tent, live music, dancing, arcades, giant slide and free baggo. Friday night is rock and roll night, Saturday music by Amazing Mike, One Man Band, German music and dancers performing throughout the day. Sunday its traditional German music, Amazing Mike will perform again, dancing, games and more fun. Please visit the website for more information! Autumn Craft & Treasures Market
The 44th annual Autumn Craft & Treasures Market, sponsored by the Sycamore Music Boosters, is part of the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival weekend October 29 & 30, 2016. This event will be held at the Sycamore High School Fieldhouse, Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, October 30 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The 38th Annual Alpine Races
Presented by the Alpine Runners, this is a 1/2 Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, Youth Mile, and also offers kid's races. Something for all runners and the whole family. The races run through the streets and along the shores of beautiful Paulus Park in Lake Zurich. Gatorade, water, and time splits will be available along the course. Food and drinks will be available to participants at the finish line. No dogs, strollers, bikes, rollerblades or headphones are allowed in the races please.

Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival
The Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival will be presenting its 2015 festival from July 24 – 31 at AMC Randhurst 12 in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The festival regularly exhibits over 30 films from around the globe that compete for a variety of awards that range in genre, production, performance and audience categories. Each film selected for exhibition and competition is screened in one theater over the course of eight days. Judges experience each film for the first time along with the audience.
32nd Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show
The 32nd Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show will feature over 40 wooden and classic fiberglass boats in-water for the public to view. Owners will eagerly share their boat's history while docked at Famous Freddies piers in Fox Lake. The classics range in age from the 1930's to the 1970's. It's a great opportunity for people of all ages to experience something they may have only seen in movies.
