Lyon Farm Fall Festival
Quilting, wood sawing, butter churning, plowing, blacksmithing, hay baling and sheep shearing with all the trimmings that include hay rides, exhibits, crafts, classic cars and food. $5 adults, $2 children 7 and older, free 6 and younger.

Zoo Run Run

Attendees can also partake in weekly activities hosted by local organizations and live music on select dates.
Lyon Farm Halloween Festival

Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo

Lemont Street Fair
History will come alive Saturday at the Lemont Historical Society’s annual Lemont Street Fair. From 10 a.m. to 4 pm, the Lemont Street Fair will feature free activities for kids, an antique and craft market, sales of rummage and bakery items, as well as pumpkins by Puckerville Farms and fall decor. Fair-goers can also learn about Lemont’s rich history by touring the historical society museum and pose for photos wearing historic costumes from Granny’s Attic. Bring antique items and find out whether Grandma’s vase or Grandpa’s old milk can is really a treasure – as the popular Road Show appraisals will be on hand from 1 to 3 pm.

It’s a great night as you don’t have to bring a dish to pass or talk to relatives. If you have never tried a turkey testicle, this is your chance! No need to worry about the weather the festival is held under one huge heated tent, with plenty of portable potties available. The bar is open but the number of people allowed inside at any one time is limited, as it can become pretty packed. There will also be hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts for sale to remember the night. “So grab a friend that's never been, enjoy a cold brew, great music, and hot nuts!"
