McHenry County Fair
The McHenry County Fair is a 68 year tradition held in Woodstock, Illinois. At the fair you can see 4-H, Open, and Junior Open livestock and non-livestock shows, educational displays revolving around conservation and agriculture, various vendors from different businesses and organizations across the county, a carnival, and a variety of ground and grandstand entertainment. It is an event for families to come to create summertime memories that last a lifetime.

Chicago's Women's Mudderella

45th Annual Old Canal Days
Young and old will enjoy the fun and excitement of "Old Canal Days" in Lockport, IL. A bigger and better carnival awaits, along with a food court, parade, beer garden, wine tent, craft show, used book sale, tours of Lock #1, and food trucks!
Adult Fishing Derby
Pack a lunch and bring your favorite fishing pole. We provide one container of bait! Prizes valued at hundreds of dollars will be awarded. The shoreline fishing derby is for ages 16 and older. Registration is required; call 708-534-8499. Day-of registration begins at 7AM. Awards will be announced from 12-1PM. Admission Fee $10. 7AM-1PM.
Dairy Days Parade
Enjoy this parade celebrating agriculture in Stephenson County which will wind through the streets of downtown Freeport. Sponsored by the Stephenson County Farm Bureau (815)232-3186. Parade starts at 1:30. After the Dairy Days Parade, enjoy this free family day with a bounce house, pony rides, a petting zoo and face painting at Union Dairy located in downtown Freeport. AirPower History Tour
A national air tour of historic WWII aircraft is coming to Sugar Grove! Take a tour or ride in a B-29 Superfortress FIFI, P-51 Mustang Gunfighter, C-45 Expeditor Bucket of Bolts, T-6 Texan, or Boeing Stearman. Aircraft tours will be available starting at 9:00 am. Supporting aircraft will be available for rides all day. Adults: $10. Youth (10-17): $5. Children age 10 and under are free.
Craft Soda Festival
Taste Over 100 Flavors of Vintage and Craft Sodas! Over 100 craft sodas plus live music, bags tournament, and all day fun at the most unique family event of the year! The innovative, the vintage, the bubbly – you’ll find them here at the biggest soda tasting event you’ve ever seen. Take a trip back to the days of soda in glass bottles sweetened with natural cane sugars. Admission is free. The festival opens and the soda sampling begins at 10am. 8th Annual Miles for Meso 5K Race
The annual Alton Miles for Meso 5K Race & 2K Fun Run/Walk will take place in downtown Alton. The race begins at the Simmons Hanly Conroy Law Firm building, across from Marquette High School, and winds through the historic, brick streets of downtown Alton. Cash prizes awarded. Liberty 5k Run/Walk
Start your Independence Day festivities early this year with some good fun and exercise! On July 3rd, the Morris Downtown Development Partnership (MDDP) will be bringing the 7th annual Liberty 5K Run/Walk back to downtown Morris! The Liberty Run 5K Run/Walk will take place at 7:15 p.m. in downtown Morris. Beginning at Liberty and Jefferson streets, the course will take you through Nostalgic Downtown Morris, area parks, neighborhoods and returns downtown on Liberty Street. The course is completely paved, primarily flat, with some slight hills for a fast and enjoyable race. The Liberty 5K is a chip timed race on a certified course. The event honors, supports and recognizes our military personnel. The race is free to attend. To participate, sign up by June 26 for only $25. (Later entries are $30). Your kids can have fun as well in our kids runs! Only $5 per child (registration on Race Day only).

Morton Downtown Super Cruise In
Morton Downtown Super Cruise July 9, 2016 Since 2004 the Village of Morton has been the location for 1-day Vintage Car Cruise. Over 500 cars manufactured from 1930 to 2013 converge upon the village for the 6 hour event, which draws about 1200 visitors. 1950`s music fills the streets and great “All American” food is served in the local restaurants. No entry fee for cars or people.
