Situated on the East Fork of the Galena River, Council Hill Station is all that is left of the business district founded by Europeans in 1854 when the railroad arrived.
Enjoy their historic buildings, the store/railway station, a ruin of a woolen mill, barn, and silo, and also the creek. Enjoy home-cooked food, 90-plus beers and beverages and the live music year-round either in the barn or in the old general store.
