We've lovingly refurbished the hotel and have suites and rooms ready for your next visit. Mount Carroll is a quaint town where much of our downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places and where you'll find live music most weekends, casual and fine dining, the famous Ravens Grin Inn Haunted House & more.

Stroll through our historic town with a self-guided tour book developed by the Mount Carroll Historic Preservation Advisory Committee. The architecture is worth the trip alone! There's unique shopping, restaurants, and night caps all within walking distance. Mt Carroll has a full service grocery store, home center & pharmacy plus just 5 miles away is the Timberlake Playhouse - Illinois' the oldest summer stock theatre which presents high quality theatre productions all summer. www.timberlakeplayhouse.org

For the sports enthusiast, 10 minutes west is the Mississippi River, Mississippi Palisades State Park and the Great River Bike Trail.
