Located at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest in Arlington Heights and in The Clock Tower Resort in Rockford, these water parks are open year–round. These resorts are fun for the whole family, and offer great dining, well–appointed guest rooms, and even game arcades.

With three water slides, a rapid water channel, and a water playground, the WaterWorks in Schaumburg can help any family shake off the blues. Just 25 miles from downtown Chicago, wacky and wet fun is closer than you think!

Mayan Adventure Indoor WaterPark

The Holiday Inn in Elmhurst (just minutes off Interstate 290) is home to 24,000 square feet of wet and wild fun for all ages. Tube rides, a plunge pool, a vortex pool, a zero–depth interactive playstation, and a dumping bucket welcome you year–round. Mayan Adventure is Chicagoland’s first water park, and, according to families who return again and again, is still a thrill a minute.

Grand Bear Falls Indoor Waterpark

The first water park in the nation with sound and motion technology, Grand Bear Falls takes swimmers through tubes, pools, and amazing virtual reality adventures. This $90 million indoor water park opened in Utica in 2005 and has been rocking ever since. Accommodations at the privately developed Grizzly Jack’s Grand Bear Resort include 100 two–story villas, an 18–hole miniature golf course, a spa, and 56 rustic log cabins.

Key Lime Cove Water Paradise and Resort

Right across from Six Flags Great America and the Gurnee Mills, this over–the–top resort, spa, and water park features a tropical–themed water wonderland, a 6,000–square–foot arcade and entertainment center, and a state–of–the–art fitness center and spa.

Vaughan Aquatic Center

A state-of-the-park indoor water playground, the Vaughan Aquatic Center in Aurora features a two-story, enclosed slide with a zero-depth entry pool, body slide and interactive, creative water play area that offers fun for all ages.
