The classic nautical musical set in 1934 with a spectacular score by Cole Porter including favorites; You’re The Top, Friendship, I Get A Kick out Of You, Friendship and, of course, Anything Goes! It’s the story of evangelist turned nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and her old pal Moonface Martin (Public Enemy #13) as they help Billy in his attempt to win the heart of debutante Hope Harcourt. This wacky tale unfolds on the deck of the S.S. American and includes spectacular singing and tap dancing sailors!

In Dora’s Pirate Adventure, Dora, Diego, Boots the Monkey, and her other friends take an exciting trip to Treasure Island. In this interactive show, the audience gets the chance to help Dora and her friends over Singing Mountain, past the silly Singing Bridge and also help them confront the Pirate Piggies. Following recent pairings of Alice with Rob Zombie and then Rob Zombie with Marilyn, this combination of Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson has been long-awaited by fans of both artists. Alice Cooper is a true rock icon, having pioneered the use of theatrics and shocking images onstage in concerts from the earliest days of the original band of the same name. Since going solo, he has continued to produce elaborate stage shows providing fans with both shock and rock of the highest caliber. Marilyn Manson's most recent full-length album Born Villain, his eighth overall, debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. The Herrin Civic Center is a multipurpose facility with conference areas, a galleria that seats 350 and an auditorium that seats 341. The Civic Center is host to all types of performances on a regular basis and can be rented for small meetings, stage performances and social events such as wedding receptions, reunions, etc. Many nationally known entertainers perform for the Patron of the Arts Series and for special appearances.

Cuneo Mansion and Gardens
The opulent Cuneo Museum and Gardens, located on 75 acres and dotted with formal gardens and statuary was the perfect setting for the wedding scenes in "My Best Friend's Wedding." The gazebo where the best friends were caught kissing was built specifically for the film, but Cuneo's owners liked it so much they decided to keep it permanently. The Varsity Center for the Arts
What started as a single-screen movie house in 1940 has become a power house for live music and community theater. This gorgeous theater is one of the greatest components to Carbondale's thriving art & culture scene, as it serves as home to the Jackson County Stage Company, which presents several plays during the year, and hosts the weekly Friday Night Film series. The Varsity serves as a venue for live entertainment during the Carbondale Rocks Revival, an annual city-wide music festival in addition to accommodating local and regional musicians during the year to bring the city exceptional entertainment.

Mitchell Museum of the American Indian
Focusing on the art, history and culture of the American Indian. Permanent exhibits are dedicated to the Native cultures of the Woodlands, Plains, Southwest, Northwest Coast and Arctic regions of North America. Each gallery contains a “touching table” where visitors can handle real examples of Indian artifacts, as well as feel the raw materials—including snakeskin, caribou fur, birch bark, turquoise and buffalo skin—that were used by native Americans. Temporary exhibits showcase emerging and established contemporary Native artists. Lectures and performances throughout the year provide a venue for multicultural education.

Aurora Puerto Rican Heritage Festival
This festival is more than music and food, it is the celebration of Puerto Rican heritage. Traditional Puerto Rican music attracts island traditionalists, while the more modern music entertains the youth. Ludwig Farmstead Creamery
Guests can tour the farm, watch how several types of cheese are made and sample some of Ludwig's products for just $5.00. Tours can be scheduled for groups of 10 or more throughout the week or on Saturdays for groups of less than ten or individuals. The Creamery sits on Feathercreek Farm, a 150-acre, fifth-generation family farm originally settled in 1866. The Ludwig family's primary business is the care and breeding of high pedigree, purebred Holstein dairy cattle.

Center on Halsted is the Midwest's most comprehensive community center dedicated to building and strengthening the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community. Windmill City Festival
