University of Illinois FIGHTING ILLINI
Wear your Orange & Blue to all 19 Varsity Athletic events in support of the hometown Fighting Illini as they compete in the newly looked Big Ten Conference as apart of the NCAA Division I. Alumni come back and visit your old stopping grounds and see what has or hasn't changed on the Urbana-Champaign campus as well as showing your support for the current FIGHTING ILLINI athletic teams! There are tons of events that go on at each of the Illini home games such as Homecoming. Tate & Lyle Players Championship
This is one of Decatur/Forsyth's premier community events. The competition is an official event and the longest stop on the LPGA's Duramed Futures Tour. The tournament will boast the largest purse on the tour and feature a four day, all caddied, 72-hole stroke play professional tournament.

Woodlawn Country Club
This nine-hole walking course features plenty of trees, and water that comes into play on seven of the nine holes. A snack bar is available.

IHSA Individual Wrestling State Championships
The Illinois High School Association’s Individual Wrestling State Championships brings out the best in high school wrestling talent under the bright lights of the Assembly Hall. This two-day event showcases the elite wrestlers from across the state as they try to wrestle their way to Saturday night at the Assembly Hall to become apart of IHSA Wrestling history being dubbed individual state champion!!

Hickory Point Golf Course
Hickory Point is truly a course for both beginning and competitive golfers. The flat, wide fairways are perfect for learning, while long distances and the ever-present wind provide challenge for more experienced golfers. Hickory Point hosts the Tat $ Lyle Players Championship, the developmental tour of the LPGA. Designed by Roger Packard, the course opened in 1999, and is designed specifically for beginning and youth golfers. Hickory Point features a lighted driving range and special six-hole short course for beginning and youth golfers.
