The El Paso Golf course measures 5045 from the front tees, 5664 from the middle tees and 6111 from the back tees. The USGA course rating is 69.6, with a slope of 126. EPGC features many elevation changes, 40 sand traps, nearly 400 trees, three lakes and a creek running throughout. Water comes into play on 13 holes. EPGC is a scenic, well maintained, challenging test of golf from any set of tees.

Edgewood Park Golf Club was started in 1968 as a 9 hole course and in 1994, with the help of designer Jim Spears, was transformed into an 18 hole regulation golf course, challenging for the intermediate and semi-pro alike. It is meticulously maintained and has 6,600 yards of golf from the blue tees for a par of 72. Course rating is 71.7 with a slope rating of 125.

All partners of this event support The Flying Fish Festival as one piece of a larger effort to deal with an Illinois River invasive species: Asian Carp. This Flying Fish Festival gives locals and visitors an opportunity to experience the excitement both on the water, shore and on the plate.

Since 1996, the March Madness Experience™, a family-oriented extravaganza of fun, interactive games, historical exhibits and good times, has been an integral part of the Boys State Finals in Peoria. Just across the concourse from the tournament action at Carver Arena, the March Madness Experience fills up the Peoria Civic Center's huge Exhibition Hall. Peoria Push is an all female flat track roller derby league that was founded March 2010. The mission of the Peoria Push Derby Dames (the “Push”) is to create a charitable organization to benefit the public interest and provide an opportunity to build a positive relationship with women in the community through the sport of roller derby. We intend to empower women by continuing to demonstrate that women of all walks of life can be strong and independent, while managing career and personal lives. We are a not-for-profit charitable organization using roller derby as a vehicle to strengthen the community. No part of the organization’s net earnings will inure to the benefit of private shareholders or individuals. The Push is not organized for or operating for the benefit of private interests. It is a skater owned and operated roller derby league, in compliance with the WFTDA requirements.
