Miller Park Zoo
Opened in the late 1800's, this city zoo began to house exotic animals after a traveling circus left behind a lion cub. Located on Historic Route 66 the zoo became a popular attraction among travelers. It is also the only Illinois zoo to feature the endangered Sumatran tiger. They offer many exhibits and zookeeper interaction opportunities that are enjoyed by the whole family. Some highlights include: sun bear, reindeer, Harbor Seals, red pandas, lemurs, Galapagos Tortoise, Bald Eagles, Pallas' Cat, Snow Leopards, gibbons, and Red Wolves. The Zoo features many large indoor and outdoor exhibits such as a Tropical America Rainforest, ZooLab, Katthoefer Animal Building, Wallaby WalkAbout, Children's Zoo, and Animals of Asia.
Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife Area
This site offers a diversity of landscape covering 1,448 acres over timbered hills, open meadows, and river bottoms. Canoe access enables visitors to float the scenic Mackinaw River. Other activities include fishing, hunting, hiking, and picnicking.
Genevieve Green Gardens
The Genevieve Green Gardens offer a relaxing setting for contemplation and the appreciation of nature's beauty. Small gardens are tucked in at various locations; there is also a formal compass garden with a beautiful arbor, a Japanese garden, and a main plaza that is highlighted by a water feature. Walkways, accompanied by tasteful signage, conveniently guide visitors around the property and are in harmony with the landscape's topography. Carefully designed lighting makes it possible to enjoy the gardens during evening hours.
The Bloomington-Normal Constitution Trail is one of Central Illinois' most unique parks. This 37-mile jogging, walking, cycling and rollerblading trail has become a hit with the community and visitors alike. The trail is broken into four segments: the north-south segment, east-west segment, the Liberty Branch and the Freedom Branch, all reaching across numerous areas in Bloomington-Normal. Parking for the trail is available at adjoining lots throughout the area. The trail is open to walkers, runners, in-line skaters, skateboarders, cyclists, wheelchair users and other non-motorized forms of transportation. During winter months, it is not cleared of snow, and is available to skiers; weather permitting.
Fairview Family Aquatic Center
Fun for the whole family! Zero depth activity pool, six lap swim lanes, separate pool for drop slides and diving boards, as well as a sand/water play area for children and two competition sand volleyball courts.

Upper Limits Rock Climbing Gym
Upper Limits has more than 20,000 square feet of climbing, including routes up to 110 feet tall. Other features include a wave-wall, bi-level cave, and a unique outdoor bouldering area. Upper Limits accommodates all ages and skill levels, offering introductory and advanced classes, parties, group rates, scout programs, and team building exercises. Twin Groves Wind Farm
Twin Groves Wind Farm features 240 turbines across 22,000 acres of land. The wind farm generates 396 megawatts of affordable, pollution-free wind energy, which is enough to meet the annual energy needs of about 120,000 homes. The campground is very clean and quiet. There are many features, such as an in-ground pool, a large pavilion, a play area for children, a small store and a dog walk area. There is plenty of shade in this campground. They provide 30 and 50 AMP service.

Synergy Flight Center offers a number of recreational activities for visitors. They offer introductory flights, flight lessons and a flight simulator that visitors can rent by the hour.
Comlara Park Visitor's Center
This enviromental education facility houses permanent audio/visual wildlife displays, artifacts originating from the site and a rotating summer exhibit.
Indian Creek Golf and Country Club
This nine-hole course has challenging water hazards, a driving range, a lounge and a banquet room. The club is open April to November.
Cascade Gardens Poultry & Eggs
This is more than the typical greenhouse with beautiful plants and the array of colors amaze you. This is a farm family raising chickens for eggs and meat, offering the “hands-on” experience to see what it is like to “be with the chickens!” In the fall, this is a fun place to go for mums and pumpkins, and they also have fall decorations. Open April-September. Groups are welcome.
Connie Link Amphitheatre
This beautiful and unique amphitheatre is easily accessible from the Constitution Trail. Some of the current programs include: High School Summer Theatre productions, Dress-Up Movie Nights and the outstanding concert series known as the Sounds of the Amphitheatre, which highlights local talent from the Bloomington/Normal area. Programming begins in May and runs through October, weather permitting.

Attractions inside the farm include: The Pumpkin Blossom Café and Gift Shoppe, Harvest Brew coffee shop, picnic area and a variety of produce. Activity admission includes access to a jumping pillow, school house education barn, little toddler village, giant mountain slide, climbing straw castle, corny bins, cattle chute jump, rodeo roundup, big digger sandbox, family hayrack rides, train rides for kids, farm animals and live music. A key part of our mission at Rader Family Farms is to educate while we entertain. Field trips and tours are available.
