A unique, 2,000-acre zoological park which is home to wolves, bison, waterfowl, black bear, elk, cougar, otter, and others. You will enjoy the park's spectacular natural settings, butterfly garden, wildflowers, lakes and restored prairies.
The Chief Keokuk Campground features 70 pads with electrical hook-ups for trailers, plus 25 tent sites. There is a shower building on site. A sanitary dump station is near the camping area. The cabin is located on a slope overlooking Johnson Lake. A fire grill, table and BBQ grill are provided outside. A full-size bed, two sets of bunk beds, a table and benches are provided inside. The cabin has heat and air conditioning as well as two ceiling fans.

Windmont Park, a 20-acre site on the city’s southwest side, is one of the most attractive settings of any park in the Midwest. A lagoon is surrounded by a large variety of trees and shrubs, and the eye is drawn to an iron footbridge that crosses the lagoon. There’s also a sidewalk that circles the water. A fountain donated to the park by a group of citizens adds a finishing touch to the scene. Recently installed at Windmont were an disabled accessible fishing pier, a new shelter, playground equipment and wider sidewalks for walkers enjoying the jaunt around the lagoon.
Home to one of the earliest educational enterprises in Illinois, the park and its sister site, Jubilee College State Historic Site, are located 15 miles northwest of Peoria near Kickapoo. In addition, to the rich history of the college, the park offers hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and camping. Jubilee College State Park has more than 40 miles of multi-use trails that wind through woodland, hills, ravines and prairies. Mountain bikers are reminded that horses have the right-of-way on the trails.
The Rock Island Trail provides 27 miles for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. One of the premier rails-to-trails facilities in Illinois, this trail is a sure-fire winner for the entire family.

Perfect for your special occasion. 40 acres of woodlands to explore while camping at one of 60 RV sites with electricity or in the spacious tent area. Water, dump station, free firewood are available. Enjoy the playground equipment, ball diamond, horseshoe court and picnic area. Open and closed area shelters available for rental. 1,365 acres of recreation opportunities. The park's centerpiece is a 58-acre lake that offers both fishing and boating, as well as nearly two and a half miles of shoreline to explore.
This layout is wonderfully enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels, with 4 sets of tees on each hole the good golfers can go to the gold tees where it can play difficult, and the average player can enjoy themselves from the white tees. The 18-hole course features 6,900 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, the course rating is 72.7 and it has a slope of 127.

Baker Park offers a par 71, 18 hole golf course. The front nine is all flat holes, while the back 9 offers a little more of a challenge with the hills. Need to warm up before your round? Or just need to perfect your swing? Then take some practice balls at our driving range. Tokens can be purchased at the clubhouse. And be sure to try out the small par 3 practice course located at the far end of the driving range. Stop in to the 19th Hole Clubhouse for snacks and refreshments.

Designed by local golf enthusiasts, Bunker Links opened in 1924.
