World's Largest Covered Wagon
The Railsplitter Covered Wagon, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest covered wagon in the world, is located on the front lawn of the Best Western Lincoln Inn, near historic Route 66. A statue of Abe Lincoln reading a law book sits in the huge wooden wagon, which stands 24 feet tall.

Walnut Street Winery
The Walnut Street Winery plus Saunas is unlike many other wineries. We make fine wines in small batches using the best raw materials available from some of the best vineyards all over the world. Our wine garden features a bocce ball court that is 60 feet long and 13 feet wide. You can enjoy your wine out in the open air, along with a delicious Isabell's Pizza or some of the great Wisconsin cheeses that we have available. The wine garden is a unique setting for hosting wedding receptions, class reunions, office parties, Christmas parties and other group events.
A 2.2 mile run paved trail on Springfield's southwest side, beginning at Robbins Rd. and continuing to Park Street.

Home of the LPGA State Farm Classic and designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., this course received a 4-star rating from Golf Digest.
The Palms Grill Café
The Palms Grill Cafe was a well-known restaurant during the heyday of Route 66. Recently the cafe was revitalized and reopened, and is serving up delicious nostalgia from the fabled Route 66 era. The Palm’s Grill Café has been baking pies and feeding hungry travelers and residents for decades. Their pies are so delicious they've even won a few state pie competitions. Saddle up to the counter or take a seat at a table; either way, the pie and coffee with the community atmosphere is enough to make any first-timer feel like a regular. Conveniently located right across the street is the towering Bunyon’s Statue, another one of Route 66’s famous Muffler Man Statues.
The Oaks Golf Course
This scenic, wooded 18-hole public golf course features a fully stocked pro shop.
The Farm includes 23 theme gardens, a rustic shop in the barn featuring herbal gifts and supplies, picnics, hayrides and a greenhouse.
The 5th Anniversary of this free street festival will begin at noon with a ribbon cutting ceremony. On the Club Station House Main Stage we are thrilled to welcome some of Springfield’s favorite bands including Shenanigans, Thornhill, Hurricane Ruth, and Looming as well as the Capital City Men’s Chorus. The evening will close out with a Drag Show featuring award winning performers. On Stage 2, which is under a big tent with tables and chairs for visiting with your friends, there will be acoustic performances, a juggling act, and other fun acts. Springfield PrideFest 2015 will offer vendors with merchandise, information and a great selection of food, soft drinks, beer and mixed drinks.
