The 18-hole Keller's Crossing at Stone Creek (previously known as Stone Creek Golf Club & Resort) in Makanda, IL is a public golf course that opened in 2000. Designed by Jerry Lemons, Keller's Crossing at Stone Creek measures 6875 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 140 and a 74 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are midlawn bermuda.

The HUB Recreation Center is a 64,000 sq. ft. building where activities such as swimming, exercising, and playing sports radiate throughout the facility. The first floor includes the following: Lounge area, snack bar, gymnasium, first aid, competition pool, therapy pool, recreation pool featuring a water slide, lazy river, wading pool, party rooms, conference room, youth center, men’s locker room, women’s locker room, and family locker room, pool viewing area and on-site child watch for members. The second floor includes the following: Three lane running/walking track, cycling room, two group exercise rooms, free weights, elliptical, machine training, treadmills and more. We encourage members and guests to explore the state-of-the-art amenities we offer Southern Illinois and beyond.
Mandala Gardens offers pathways of beauty and hidden benches. Find quiet sitting spots, have a chat with our goats, chickens, and ducks, and simply enjoy the day. We have a rainbow variety of heirloom vegetables and potted herbs available for purchase when in season. If you are interested in holding a wedding or reunion or other event here, contact us for fees and dates. We also host senior photos, maternity photos, homecoming and prom photos, etc. for a small fee. The money earned from entrance fees and herbs/vegetable sales is directly invested into growing Mandala Gardens.
They named Longshadow Gardens after the long shadows cast by tall Oaks, Hackberries and Sassafras across our hilltop meadows. Twenty years ago, determined to create fine garden ornaments and a great Garden, they purchased a neglected farm with breathtaking views, grottoes, waterfalls and limestone bluffs adjacent to the Shawnee National Forest. After clearing weeds away, they planted Boxwood allees, Yew, Dawn Redwood, Bald Cypress, Roses, Prairie and ornamental grasses, rows of Lavender and billows of Nepeta. Garden ornaments are nestled as focal points in evocative settings. Mown grass paths and shaded walks lead through a carpet of woodland treasures including spring ephemerals, wild Orchids, Spicebush, Witch hazel, and many more. They support our passion for gardening by designing and hand crafting Longshadow dry cast limestone planters and garden ornaments in buildings that blend into our rural surroundings. Their motto is Fabricia in Horto Nostro, Latin for “Factory in a Garden.” In their factory they hand craft the finest garden ornaments and planters in the world. In Longshadow Gardens, they strive to attain fleeting moments of memorable beauty.
We specialize in catering to campers with horses who want to enjoy trail riding on the many scenic trails in the Shawnee National Forest. Other campers, backpackers, hikers, bikers, and hunters are always welcome.

Little Egypt Off Road MC is a young club that aims to pursue, promote, and protect interest of motorcyclists in a social and athletic setting. They offer a public off road riding area. They have 860 Acres to ride, miles of trails, mud areas to play, hill climbs, scenic areas to stop and enjoy, and two MX tracks to play on.
Stardust offers 9 holes of golf with a par of 36. Winter golf is available. Amenities include club and cart rental and a snack bar.

Opened in 1986, this indoor rink is open seasonally from August to May. Public skating sessions are the main attraction but the rink is available for private parties as well. Large arcade, snack bar and Skate Shop on site.
