The 5th Anniversary of this free street festival will begin at noon with a ribbon cutting ceremony. On the Club Station House Main Stage we are thrilled to welcome some of Springfield’s favorite bands including Shenanigans, Thornhill, Hurricane Ruth, and Looming as well as the Capital City Men’s Chorus. The evening will close out with a Drag Show featuring award winning performers. On Stage 2, which is under a big tent with tables and chairs for visiting with your friends, there will be acoustic performances, a juggling act, and other fun acts. Springfield PrideFest 2015 will offer vendors with merchandise, information and a great selection of food, soft drinks, beer and mixed drinks. There will be the very popular Kid’s Area, where this year’s theme is Alice in Wonderland, and the Teen Lounge with activities, competitions, a scavenger hunt, and more. www.springfieldpride.org
