Ride the Big Eli Wheel at Community Park. Similar to the Ferris wheel, Eli Wheels are more compact and easily movable. The Eli Bridge Company still manufactures these wheels and other amusement rides in Jacksonville.

Completed in the Summer of 2006, these 10 murals depicting historic Jacksonville scenes and events were handpainted by more than 50 sign painters and graphic artists from as far away as Scotland and New Zealand.

Approximately 5,000 acres are timber, while there are 46 miles of trails for activities including horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and bicycling. Boating is permitted. Camping with electricity.
Supplement and Nutrition store to meet all your supplement needs! Indoor playground, Rock Climbing, and American Ninja Warrior Obstacles! Krush offers a Play Zone for children ages 12 and under. Inside the Play Zone, kids can jump on trampolines, play in the toddler area, slide down multiple slides, and climb up the tires or the alternating steps to reach the fort near the ceiling. There are also kids ninja obstacles. The Warrior Zone allows you to rock climb (ages 8 and up) or test out your Ninja skills on the American Ninja Warrior obstacles (ages 13 and up). The Ninja course contains 20 obstacles from the show including the warped wall, cliff hanger, and salmon ladder.

Not your ordinary youth baseball and softball parks, the fields here are entirely covered in Players Turf, making it virtually rain-out proof and allowing for a variety of different levels of play. Facilities are lighted, and include 20-foot scoreboards, concrete dugouts, concession stands and sound systems.
At 2300-yards Nothridge Hills offers a course with rolling terrain and challenging greens. With three lakes and a creek in play on seven holes, an errant ball can easily find water. For those of you that hit’em straight, the well groomed fairways provide a safe haven for par-saving approach shots. In addition to this, our practice area consists of a twenty station driving range and a 6000 square foot practice green. If honing your golfing skills is what you desire, Northridge Hills is the place to be. Northridge Hills has a Course Slope and Rating of 104 and 31.2 respectively.
This state-of-the-art playground also boasts a splash and play pad that is accessible to people of all abilities. This free park is open year-round, with the splash pad available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
A 9.960-acre bottomland environment of sloughs and backwater lakes, Sanganois is managed primarily to provide a refuge for migratory waterfowl and a public duck hunting area.
This 150-acre park with a 225-acre lake is owned by the city of Rushville. The park offers fishing and canoeing, hiking trails through a hardwood forest, camping and picnicking, youth group camping area, pavilions, boat dock & baseball diamond. The campground facilities consist of 77 spaces with electrical hookups. All spaces have water and there is a modern shower house for your convenience. Schuy-Rush Lake offers a well maintained boat ramp. There is a generous supply of slips for docking your boat overnight or for the entire camping season. Fishing is by pole and line only and the lake has a large variety of fish. For the adventurous, we have a nature trail for hiking. Come to Schuy-Rush Lake where we supply the water and you supply the fun.
The land for Scripps Park was donated by the Scripps family. The park was the site of the homestead of the Scripps family, pioneers in journalism. Scripps Park offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, the Virginia community building, playground, picnic area, baseball diamonds, and two guest houses for rent.
Scripps Park Golf Course was originally built as a 9-hole course in 1923. The original 9 has many rolling fairways with bunkered greens and challenging water hazards. In 2002 the course expanded to 18 holes with the back 9 having the open feeling of a "links style" course. The wide fairways and creative hazards complement the demanding greens. All 18 holes are irrigated and provide consistent play from early spring to late fall. The course is long enough to be enjoyably challenging but easily accessible to walkers as well as cart players. You can purchase annual individual or family passes or pay by the round. Cart rental and a well stocked pro shop is available. The course can also accommodate groups and corporate outings.
This beautiful, well-maintained 18-hole course has a long front nine with mature trees, and a short tricky back nine with water, bent grass, trees and greens.
