Established in 1930, Bergen Golf Course was built on fertile farm ground which to this day provides a lush green terrain. The course features eight par fours and one par three. The course has no bunkers or water hazards which makes it playable for golfers of all abilities! But don't be fooled, tree lined fairways and smaller greens make accuracy a must!
Bunn Golf Course is a regulation 18 hole facility. It is a tree lined course with narrow fairways and challenging holes. Water comes into play on several holes throughout the course. The 18th green is one of the most challenging greens in the area.
18-Hole, 6414 yard, par 72 public golf course. Front nine opened July 4, 1993; Back nine added July 4, 2002. Bentgrass greens, bluegrass/rye mix fairways, tees, and rough. Banquet facility to accommodate up to 110 guests and clubhouse seating for up to 200. Full service pro shop fully stocked with golf clubs, balls, equipment, clothing, towels, hats, and shoes. Practice facilities include drivingvrange with three target greens, chipping and putting green, practice bunker.
This beautiful 18-hole course is situated on rolling elevations, with fast and true greens. Crane Creek also has a clubhouse, driving range, food service and a bar.
Crazy Horse is a 55-acre campground blanketed with rolling hills, hiking trails through wooded land, and two large ponds for fishing, boating, and a swimming beach. Located along Sugar Creek, about five miles north of Lincoln, Creekside the Outdoor Center for Environmental Education will be an experiential outdoor classroom featuring an outdoor teaching pavilion, insectarium, greenhouse, and a restored prairie. It will include parking space, bioswales, rain gardens, and boardwalks and sidewalks to make the site handicapped-accessible. When complete it will be powered by solar panels and a wind generator.
Enjoy the peaceful walking, biking or running trails with plenty of deer to be seen.

The Henson Robinson Zoo is home to animals native to Australia, Africa, Asia and North and South America. Over 90 species of native and exotic animals are housed here among naturalistic exhibits. Special events are held throughout the year and provide many hands-on experiences for children and adults alike. Also, take a "Zooper Edventure" with the zoo’s education programs for children ages 2 to 17. Facilities include a gift shop, concessions and a petting area.

Kickapoo State Recreation Area in Oakwood, IL has 22 deep-water ponds, ranging in size from 0.2 to 57 acres, providing a total of 221 acres of water for boaters, canoeists and anglers. Lushly forested uplands and bottomlands along the Middle Fork of the Vermilion River is habitat for enough birds, wildlife and wildflowers to please any nature lover, while nature trails and running trails provide pathways to inspiration and physical fitness. If you want a less demanding excursion in the outdoors, there are facilities for camping and picnicking. With 22 lakes and access to the Middle Fork River, Kickapoo is known for the opportunities it provides for water-based outdoor activities. Anglers find excellent fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, crappie and redear sunfish. Especially popular are the annual fall and spring stockings of rainbow trout, which provide an unusual opportunity for central Illinois anglers to fish for catch-able size trout. There are 12 launching ramps on nine of Kickapoo's lakes. Boat and canoe rental is available for Clear Pond.
