With miles of horse trails and a new equestrian campground with full hook-ups and shower house, Lake Lou is a great destination for horse enthusiasts. Milnot Beach has two diving platforms, showers, snack bar, and lifeguards on duty.
16th Annual Jacksonville Rotary Club Bass Tournament
16th Annual Jacksonville Rotary Club Bass Tournament at Lake Jacksonville. Registration and pre-tournament meeting will be held at 6 a.m. (central daylight savings time.) Drawing for order will take place after meeting (late registration – after March 31st not included in the drawing) There is a 40 boat limit so register early. Entry fee is $150.00 and $10.00 per boat for the Big Bass Pot (optional.) Daily or Seasonal boat permit required. Contact the Jacksonville City Clerk’s office at 217.479.4613 by April 10th to get permit. Proof of $25,000 liability insurance is required.
