Located in beautiful southern Illinois just south of the Cache River. We have a very nice restaurant next to the winery called Wineaux’s Restaurant. We also have a cabin on site tucked away at the edge of the woods. Can sleep six, has a hot tub and sauna.

Darrell Shemwell's Bar-B-Que was chosen "Best BBQ on the Old River Road" by Money magazine and was featured in the June 2003 issue of Chicago Magazine. Shemwell's is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. Specialties on the menu are BBQ pork, beef brisket, ham, and turkey and are sliced, not chopped like other BBQ. Darrell also makes his own delicious BBQ sauce to enhance the hickory flavor of his scrumptious meat.
