Illinois River Wine Trail
Located two hours south of Chicagoland, this central Illinois wine trail features wineries dotted along the Illinois River Road Scenic Byway.
Hopewell Winery opened its doors in 2007 in Pike County. The winery sits on an acre yard and has a banquet hall. Hosting corporate events, weddings, and other private events. At Hopewell Winery, we boast wine, draft beer and bottled beer and make sure to try our Candy Bar Chocolate Wine. Open weekends and located a half mile outside of Summer Hill, IL on Hwy 54 near Pittsfield, IL.
Kampsville Inn Restaurant
Take a drive down the Great River Road and stop at the Kampsville Inn Restaurant for breakfast (served all day during the week) or their famous fried catfish fillets or catfish fritters. Located on the river, customers can watch the Kampsville Ferry cross while they eat. A full bar is also available.
