Honker Hill Winery is located on the highest point in Williamson County and surrounded by the Crab Orchard Fish and Wildlife Refuge and Shawnee National Forest, Honker Hill Winery produces fine Illinois wines from fruit grown directly at our vineyard. Enjoy great views from our patio near the fireplace, our unique wildlife room, or gazebo or a enjoy a stroll around one of our five large ponds located on the property while sipping on a glass of your favorite wine. Conveniently located mid-way between Marion and Carbondale within the Shawnee Hills American Viticultural Area, Honker Hill Winery is proud to be the newest member of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Shawnee Hills Wine Trail

The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail features 12 award-winning wineries located along a 25-mile scenic drive along highway 127 and highway 51 in the Shawnee National Forest. Along the way have a picnic, go on a hike, visit a shop, and stay in a cozy B&B or cabin. Many of the wineries host special events throughout the summer and fall.
