Great River Grape Escape
Enjoy the bounty of Illinois Vintners at the annual Great River Grape Escape. Traditionally held the 4th weekend in September on Quincy's riverfront. New hours this year are Sat. 12-7pm and Sunday 12-5pm. Bring a lawn chair and your own cheese and crackers. Enjoy live music coupled with wine and food pairings. Free admission, tasting tickets and wine glass are available for purchase.

Baxter's Vineyard & Winery
Baxter’s Vineyards, the oldest winery in the state of Illinois, is a small family winery located in the historic town of Nauvoo, Illinois. The winery was established in 1857 by Emile and Annette Baxter. Today, Baxter’s Vineyards continues within the same family with co-owners, Kelly and Brenda Logan. Kelly is a part of the fifth generation of Baxter’s to grow grapes and apples and make wine in historic Nauvoo.

In 2003, inspired by the vision of the founders of Mary Michelle, Dressel returned to the Midwest to help make a contribution to the fulfillment of this dream.

The store is located in the remodeled cellar of a historic building which has been brought back to glory by Eric and Debbie who returned to Creston after living abroad for many years. The Rouge Wine Cellar offers the relaxing atmosphere of Europe while also providing the visitor with a choice of today's greatest wines from 15 countries, including local Illinois wineries. Not only are we confident that you will find the perfect wine for your special occasion, but we invite you to try some of the bottles carefully selected by Eric for daily tastings. The Village Vineyard & Winery
The Village Vineyard & Winery has a large tasting room where guests can sample 16 wine varieties, as well as a patio facing three acres of vineyard. All wine is made, bottled and sold at the vineyard.
The Winery at Shale Lake
Rent a 4-wheel Surrey bicycle and take a bottle of wine down to the lake. They make six varieties of wine on site. You'll love the picturesque setting: the wine garden; deer running across the field; wild turkeys making their way into the woods and lots of rabbits. Make it a real fun weekend by renting one of the log cabins or a real getaway by camping at the campgrounds.

The Bluffs Vineyard & Winery
Buttermilk Hill is home to this vineyard & winery, the location and view are quite unique and allow all who visit to truly feel like they are back to nature. Lyn-Nita Vineyards was established in 2010 with the planting of three acres of vineyards. The Wine Cellar was opened in November 2010 and features wines from Illinois grown grapes. Local wines produced and sold.

Orlandini Vineyard began its roots in 1988 when their first vines were planted. Over two decades later the grapes are still flourishing. Orlandini Vineyard is located on one of southern Illinois' highest ridge tops, deep in the heart of the Shawnee Hills A.V.A. After years of practice and experimentation in wine making, Orlandini Vineyard began releasing wines to the the public in 2001. Novices and connoisseurs have been enjoying our hand tended vintages ever since.
