Arlington Heights Downtown Business Association
Stroll through our 8-block Downtown Business Association and find a great array of shops, many of which have provided quality services to our community for decades. The Downtown Business Association is home to a pharmacy and grocery store, to jewelry stores and art galleries, to clothing stories and home décor boutiques. Transportation services are also available if you wish to take in other Chicagoland sites.
Little Popcorn Store
A cherished landmark in the heart of downtown Wheaton, The Little Popcorn Shop is perhaps one of the most loved and narrowest stores in the Chicagoland area measuring 49 inches wide by 60 feet long. The store’s small, quaint space is like walking into a Norman Rockwell painting. Popcorn is freshly popped, candy lines the wall, and locals greet each other warmly while welcoming newcomers to this very special place called The Little Popcorn Shop.
Village of Roselle
Roselle is a northwestern suburb of Chicago and is home to 22,763 people. Located approximately 25 miles from downtown Chicago, 25 minutes from O'Hare International Airport, and 10 minutes from two major shopping centers, Roselle provides the quality of life and sense of community usually found only in a small town, with the convenience of a larger metropolitan area.
It’s not just a bike shop, and it’s not just a coffee shop—it’s an artistic space, a working space, a space to live in. We encourage everyone to bring suggestions and feedback; to bring their kids, or their laptops, or both; and to make new friends by elbowing into the community table. Everything we do is centered around this sense of community, right down to our manufacturing. Heritage bikes are designed, welded (by hand, out of American steel), and assembled right here in the city of Chicago. Plus, almost every bike is entirely unique, as Heritage focuses on full customization. Whether it’s sparkly colors or Italian leather accessories that float your boat, we’ll find something to match your style.

Nestled on the eastern edge of Highland Park's bustling Central Avenue among other trendy boutiques is Ooh-La-La, a small shop that's big on style and service. Located in the historic Highland Park Movie Theatre Building, in a space previously dedicated to a millinery shop during the 30's and 40's, proprietor and designer Lisa Farrell interprets the art of millinery with a modern eye. This tres chic boutique feels like a Parisian millinery salon complete with draped velvet curtains, an elegant chaise lounge and an ornate vintage mirror. By far the most dramatic element of the salon is the wall lined with old hat blocks – a true mark of craftsmanship seldom seen in department stores. Beautifully handcrafted women's hats are displayed in small vignettes throughout the intimate salon. These one-of-a-kind couture creations are wonderfully detailed with frothy feathers, sumptuous fabrics, vintage beading or another well-crafted trim.
