Owned by the Lamoreaux family of Historic 1840s Nauvoo, sleeps ten comfortably, is within walking distance of the Nauvoo Temple, and has a modern addition with all the amenities. Although situated near Old Nauvoo and the wonderful historic sites down on the "flats," the home sits on quiet end of Knight Street and backs to a large communal back yard with a well-equipped pavilion that is also available for day-rental. Perfect for large groups or small families. The home sleeps ten comfortably with five bedrooms--four of them in the historic part of the house, and one in the loft. Two have king beds, and three queens. The large living room downstairs has lots of lounge and sitting room and a gas fireplace. The kitchen and separate dining area provide all the appliances and kitchen needs for a large family. A large, double-wide driveway for plenty of parking. The house addition includes a istoric stairway that was moved from a 150-year-old bank and a full service bathroom with Jacuzzi (and shower) on the main floor. There is also a full bath in the basement (with shower), and a half bath in the loft. There is a washer and dryer for guest use downstairs, and the home is centrally heated and cooled for year-round comfort. High speed Internet access, cable TV, and DVD player all for guest use. The deck out back is a perfect place for a BBQ or for relaxing on those warm summer evenings while enjoying the gentle summer breeze.

The Barnett Bungalow, is a quaint, early 1900's home just over two blocks from the temple! With central heat and air conditioning it features a living room with queen-size sofa sleeper, love seat, TV with VCR and DVD, book shelf with early LDS and Nauvoo history, including LDS videos, and Nauvoo framed art. The completely remodeled kitchen has all new cabinets, counter-top and appliances, including full size refrigerator, range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, and all the utensils and dishware for twelve. There is comfortable wall-to-wall carpeting in the living room and two bedrooms on the main floor, each with queen size beds. The dining room has a hardwood floor, with oak dining table and chairs for six, in addition to the drop-leaf kitchen table which seats four. The large main floor bathroom has a shower/tub combination, and vanity, in addition to the laundry behind bi-fold doors. Up the carpeted stairs to the children’s quarters, an attic great room with cable TV, full-size futon and four twin beds, plus a new bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Two cots and sleeping bags available for kids, plus a port-a-crib, if needed. Sleeps 12-14 people depending on age. All linens and towels are provided, plus a washer and dryer are available for guests use. Close to everything in town...walk to groceries, restaurants, shopping and the temple.
The Mix House

This beautiful Nauvoo home is situated on ten wooded acres in the country, about 8 miles from the temple. It is a split level and perfect for larger groups or families! There is plenty of room for parking, including RVs. The home features three bedrooms, all with queen beds, on the upper level, sharing a full-bath. The large living room has plenty of seating with a large spacious sectional that is also a sleeper sofa. Pianist will enjoy the Yamaha grand piano! And Also enjoy the Overhead Projection system with BluRay player and DISH network available for movie night with the family. High speed wireless internet is available throughout the home. The spacious kitchen will accommodate large families and has everything you need for your home away from home! Downstairs is a large family room with a couch and futon, and a beautiful fireplace as a center for family visiting. This room has been recently remodeled and also features a flat screen TV with DISH and BluRay player. There is a full bath with shower and tub on this level. The home has central air-conditioning for comfort during the summer months. The home comfortably sleeps 8 adults, and there is room for children and toddlers in sleeping bags on the floor. James Myler Manor
Ground floor accommodations include a master bedroom/bath suite featuring a king size bed and a double queen room across the hall. A basic equipped kitchen, dining room, bath and a two story great room with a large screen TV complete the first floor. The back of the home is open and airy with two story windows that give you a beautiful view of the common area. Upstairs, there is a loft with seating and a secretary's desk, two more baths and three bedrooms, including a duplicate of the master suite on the first floor, a single queen bedroom and a large queen bedroom with four singles in two bunk beds. Each bedroom has a large closet and is furnished with a large dresser. In the basement there are laundry facilities, another bathroom and four twin beds. Constructed in 2006, the floor plan is 2,690 square feet and sleeps sixteen to twenty guests. The home has five bedrooms and six full bathrooms between the three levels. The two story great room with living area, dining area and large windows provide an excellent view of the Hyrum Kimball Village Pavilion and recreation area. The home is fully furnished and tastefully decorated.

This old European-style home is the first “story book” home built in this new development. The complete home is three stories, but there is a lock off available on the first floor (Troubadour's Quarters), allowing that unit to be rented separately, or with the main home on the second and third floors (Crown Court Suite). The Troubadour's Quarters contains a great room with full kitchen, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave and table for six. The great room has a queen-size sofa sleeper, gas burning fireplace, and flat screen TV. A bedroom has three built-in bunk beds, and there is a full bath with tub/shower combination! This level sleeps up to 8 and can be rented separately, or with the rest of the home. Since the home is built on a hillside overlooking the Mississippi River, the massive front door is located on the second level, opening up into a large living room with fireplace and flat screen TV, and beautiful view of the river. This living room contains two queen size sofa sleepers. The full kitchen has Amish built cabinets, granite counter-tops seating four at the bar and with a table for six in the round turret. The full bath on this floor has a corner shower. The third level is the master suite which is perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary occasion! The view of the Mississippi from this room is spectacular! It also has a desk, gas log fireplace, flat screen TV, King size bed, queen size sofa sleeper, and another bedroom with queen size bed.
