In celebration of the tremendous effort our military service members makes every day, Pause for Patriotism exposes everyday citizens to several aspects of life in our armed forces. An action packed day provides thousands of children, scouts and schools from all over Illinois to meet Armed Forces personnel, view jet flyovers, climb in helicopters, view tons of military equipment, enjoy demonstrations, entertainment and crafts.
