Like others attending college, Tyler worked summers to help off-set expenses by making pizzas in a family-owned Bartonville business called Terry’s Pizza. A couple of years later, Tyler returned to Terry’s Pizza as manager. In 1986, Tyler bought the business and subsequently renamed it Tyroni’s, a nickname his in-laws created by eliding Tyler and pepperoni. Today Tyroni’s Italian Cafe is one of greater Peoria’s favorite dining spots. We appreciate our Senior Citizens 62 and older ~ 10% discount... Dine-In only, alcohol not included.
