The cornerstone of Oak Park Avenue, the buzzing street of Oak Park's Hemingway District, is this National Register Building rich with architectural history.
Built in 1905, Scoville Square was designed by E.E. Roberts and remains one of the country's few examples of Prairie style architecture applied to commercial buildings. In 1980, commissioned architect John Vinci restored the building to its original grandeur. The building offers an ideal atmosphere for social and business fundraisers and receptions of small-to-medium sizes, while a mix of shops and restaurants on the ground floor provides ample opportunity for exploring the area.
